ABOUT VERMICOMPOST AND AERATED WORM TEA

Our VERMICOMPOST  a mixture of worm castings and organic material in various stages of decomposition that has been digested by our Red Wigglers. We feed our workers a diet of veggies, fruits, coffee, tea, newspaper, sawdust, toilet paper cores, leaves, worn out plant matter including a small amount of vegetarian animal manure. This food travels through the digestive track of the worm and becomes a highly active biological mass of active beneficial microorganisms containing Nitrogen, Potassium, Phosphorus, Calcium and Magnesium which are readily available to nourish the plant in its slow release encapsulated form nourishing the soil up to 5 years.

        Benefits of Vermicompost
             ⇒ Improves Soil Quality
             ⇒ Controls many Plant Pathogens
             ⇒ Worm Eggs/Cocoons are included
             ⇒ pH level of '7'
             ⇒ Increases Water Retention
⇒ Safe to use around Children and Pets

Our Aerated WORM TEA is a "cold brewed", water extract of compost produced during a 24 hr aeration cycle. The microbes extracted from the vermicompost contain a large diversity of bacteria, fungi, protozoa and nematodes that will bind and glue themselves to plant surfaces and soil.
             ⇒ Microbes Eat Aphids
⇒ Microbes Occupy Infection/damaged Areas Helping to Prevent Attack by Pathogens
             ⇒ Soil Structure Is Improved
⇒ Water Retention in Soil is Improved
             ⇒ Rooting Depth is Increased
⇒ Nutritional Quality of Plant Produce is Enhanced
